What is this book called?

Its about a girl whose family is scalped by native americans, but they kidnap her. She eventually falls into line with them and ends up almost getting d by another native american in the tribe, but an older lady stops it. Then she escapes and finds out her mother is still alive and they find each other with a song or lullaby they both know.
