Court Question. IM NERVOUS.?

I got my drivers license about a month ago. Today I got in a car accident trying to make a turn through a 2 lane road. How ever there was a large truck on the other side of the median blocking my view of any on coming traffic. I inched out more into the center didn't see any cars so I continued with my left turn and about half way through my turn i got nailed by a small Toyota. Of course I got a ticket for not yielding but now i'm asked to make a court apperance. Im only 16 and am always staying away from trouble so of course I have never been to a court room. I'm wondering if it's going to like judge Judy with a huge jury and a judge questioning me or is this not the case? I'm extremely nervous about this and an answer would nice. BTW. no one was injured and the car that hit me suffered hardly no damage. My car has a nice dent where the right rear tire is. And how far out can I expect my court date to be? Because I was hoping a few months away because I am having fishing trip in 3 weeks.
