Honestly what do you think of this poem?

please don't get mad at me!... It's great that you've chosen a non-destructive way to express yourself. Now for the constructive criticism. It seems kind of "gimicky." it's probably because the rhyme scheme is so simple.. (it doesn't even have to rhyme ;-) Also "except" should be "accept." Keep writing though. You may improve. :-)
