Why do christians evangelicals or protestants speak always about God and they insert God in each conversation?

is it normal that people who are protestants speak about God in each conversation? like saying God is the person who changed their lives, in this life God put us troubles that we can solve or speaking about the Bible or memorizing the verses of the Bible? is it part of the protestantism?
